Private voice AI — built like real infrastructure.

Wordcab is an ASR-native team shipping the deployable voice stack regulated enterprises have been piecing together from Docker images and open weights for years. We turn that into one product.

We exist because private voice AI still ships as a pile of parts.

Open models are finally good enough. Serving frameworks are fast enough. Orchestration is real. What is missing is the packaging, fine-tuning, and operating surface that turns those parts into a system an enterprise can deploy and run.

That gap costs regulated teams six-to-twelve months of engineering on every private voice AI project. Wordcab closes it.

Backed by investors who bet on infrastructure.

Wordcab is funded by backers who have shipped and scaled serious software companies. The common thread: voice AI will sit behind most enterprise workflows within a decade, and whoever productizes the private deployment layer wins the regulated market.

How we work.

Product first, services attached. Wordcab ships as a licensed container stack, not a consulting engagement. Gold Support and custom engineering work are packaged on top — not substitutes for the product.

Pick the model, not the hype. We track every serious open voice and small-LLM release and re-baseline our defaults quarterly. When Qwen3-ASR shipped in January, our production customers were on it within six weeks. When Gemma 4 landed in April, Think defaulted to it the same week.

Deployment as a design decision. Helm charts, airgap bundles, preflight checks, and signed artifacts ship with every release. We do not hand customers a Docker image and wish them luck.

ASR depth. The team has shipped speech systems since 2021 — long before transcription became a feature bullet on every LLM platform. It shows up in the parts of voice AI that break quietly in production: diarization, telephony codecs, accented audio, domain vocabulary, redaction.

What customers and partners say.

"For everyone there is a lack of engineers that understand ASR. Implementing Whisper is good but not enough for corporate or government. Wordcab One changes the game with its private cloud voice stack."

Bigtincan

David Keane — CEO, Bigtincan & SCX.ai

"During my years in medical ASR, I've seen a common unaddressed need for secure private cloud and on-prem voice solutions, only partially fulfilled by today's piecemeal solutions. Wordcab One goes beyond an on-device API, bringing an easily deployable voice stack and admin panel into your environment in hours."

iMedX

Christopher Foley — former CEO, iMedX

"Wordcab's speed of implementation is excellent. We needed m3u8 support for transcription and they shipped it within several days. Within a week we had a custom solution for a niche use case, callable as a parameter on their endpoint. Rapid implementation and a nimble team."
